Mehrabad International Airport in Tehran, Iran

Mehrabad International Airport was constructed in 1938, and was designed by the Azorean-American architect William Pereira.

Mehrabad International Airport was the airport where Sayed Bozorg “Moody” Mahmoody had flown with his wife Elizabeth Mahmoody and their daughter Mahtob Mahmoody into Iran en route to keeping his wife and daughter in captivity in the Islamic nation; prior to Elizabeth Mahmoody and her daughter Mahtob being smuggled out of the country and over to Turkey; and it was from Turkey where they would make their journey back to the United States.

CBS News Department’s Investigations Into School Bus Drivers Nationwide

I totally agree with the investigation and report by CBS’s News Department on School Bus drivers nationwide.

I would especially be tougher on the type of people that the Warren Consolidated Schools school district serving Warren, Michigan; Sterling Heights, Michigan; and Troy, Michigan hire as drivers, and I would install a device that is advertised in the magazines titled ‘School Bus Fleet’ and ‘School Transportation News’ that tracks drivers’ driving habits, abuse; and negligence to their assigned School Buses; and I would also install another device that is also advertised in the aforementioned magazines about the School Transportation industry that blocks both the radio and satellite signals from drivers’ personal cellular phones to keep them from using their personal cellular phones at any time while they’re inside their assigned buses.

The Macomb Intermediate School District, which overlooks each and every one of the school districts in Macomb County, Michigan (including the Warren Consolidated Schools school district) already has very strict guidelines for the type of people that they hire as drivers.

Return Of The Isuzu Forward/F-Series To The North American Market

I am very happy to hear that the Isuzu Forward/F-Series will once again be sold in the North American market.

However, this time around; the Forward/F-Series will be sold with the same 4HK1 diesel engine that had always powered the Elf/N-Series since Isuzu had put the 4HK1 Diesel Engine into production, and not the 6HK1 Diesel Engine that the Forward/F-Series had been sold in the North American market in the past.

The 4HK1 is the 6HK1 with 2 cylinders removed to create a 4-cylinder engine.

A Front Engine and a Rear Engine chassis-both of which would be based on the Isuzu Forward/F-Series would be the only chassis that would be available on both the Front Engine and a Rear Engine versions of the Blue Bird All American if General Motors and Isuzu had each purchased a 50% stake in Blue Bird.

GM Durant-Dort Factory One Opening

I am happy to hear that General Motors had purchased the building that is the cornerstone of their founding of their company in 1908, the building of their predecessor company-the Durant-Dort carriage company and is now operating it as a museum.

If it weren’t for the Durant-Dort carriage company, there would have never been a General Motors.

General Motors opens the restored Durant-Dort Factory One, considered to be the company’s birthplace and epicenter of the global auto industry, Monday, May 1, 2017 in Flint, Michigan. Once home to the Flint Road Cart Co., the restoration preserves a significant aspect of the shared heritage of GM and Flint, and creates a community space to help spur economic development in the city.
