The Recent Death Of Jerry Springer (As Of The Time Of Writing This Post)

I’ve never cared for Jerry Springer’s Talk Show once it became a Trash Talk Show beginning in 1993.

I’ve only liked Jerry Springer’s Talk Show when it was a normal Talk Show, beginning with when it was a locally-produced, in-house Television Show at Crosley/AVCO/Multimedia Incorporated’s Television Station in Cincinnati WLWT-TV (a pioneering Television Station dating back to the early years of Television in 1946, when Crosley had put it on the air as Experimental Television Station W8XCT), and during the years 1991-1992 when Jerry Springer’s Talk Show had mimicked Phil Donahue and Oprah Winfrey’s Talk Show, and was centered mostly around Politics, Political Figures, and Social Issues such as Gun Control, Homelessness, and the Social effects of Rock and Hip Hop Music.

Jerry Springer has always been ‘better than that’ as the saying goes, with regards to hosting a Trash Talk Show, especially considering the fact that he had been a Politician, and then a News Anchor at WLWT-TV prior to his Talk Show becoming a Trash Talk Show.

I Am Saddened By The Death Of Musical Artist Harry Belafonte

Even though I’ve never liked Harry Belafonte shaving his head with a razor and shaving cream in later years, I’ve never liked Harry’s son David Belafonte also shaving his head with a razor and shaving cream; and I’ve never liked Harry’s daughter Shari Belafonte dyeing her hair blonde beginning in the 1990’s, I’ve liked Harry’s cover of the Glen Campbell song titled “By the Time I Get to Phoenix” that has reached the Adult Contemporary Chart, and I’ve also enjoyed Shari Belafonte hosting a series of Travel Videos about Travel to Mexico and the Caribbean that were produced by Small World Productions (the same Production Company that produced Rick Steves’ original Television Series “Travels In Europe” that ran from 1990-2000).

All in all, I am saddened by the death of Harry Belafonte.

This series of articles traces a particular history of BBC comedy – of the shows over the past one hundred years that have poked fun at the Corporation itself. It’s all about the BBC eating itself – and colleagues sacrificing one another on the high alter of satire. Well, at least it makes the audience […]

Broadcast Essay: TV Cigar-Store Indians: Test Patterns, Ads, and ‘Whiting Out’ History — Journalism History journal

“Those who tell the stories rule the world,” Hopi Nation proverb Paulette Kilmer Television tapped into our human hunger for stories. Like earlier forms of media, TV’s narratives told us who we were, where we belonged in society, and how to identify outsiders who differed from us. For example, some television series framed plots around […]

Neo-Country Music Artist Walker Hayes

Like many Neo-Country Music Artists, Walker Hayes’ music is junk; when compared to the likes of Dottie West, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, Naomi & Wynonna Judd, Kenny Rogers, Hank Williams Sr. and Jr., and Brenda Lee.

Not only does Walker Hayes need to be transformed from being fit and muscular to being fat and overweight, but Walker Hayes also needs to comprehend that the Automotive world as a whole, Ham Radio, and Commercial Broadcast Radio and Television are all more important than Sports and Fitness.
